Runner Four

Remember how vampires used to be these scary monsters with no emotions, their only desire was the need to drink blood… and then they became these kind of moody Byronic heroes whose posters would line the walls of teenage girls’ bedrooms.

I pray that people won’t try the same thing with zombies.

Zombie Tip #101

Always double knot your shoelaces.

We now have an artist’s rendition of this mysterious ‘vombucorn’.
If you see this creature, consider it armed (er, hooved?) and extremely dangerous.  Do not attempt to approach it.

Passing the message on.

Look at it!

Look at what Runner Three’s found for us!

Just when I thought music was dead in this world, it’s lived to see another grey-free day!

There is good in this world and it’s called the Beatles.

What, no Ke$ha?!

(I kid, I kid. Don’t pack me off to New Canton just yet)

Was my first day allowed out of the hospital.  Huzzah!

Maxine made me wear one of those flu masks just to be doubly sure I didn’t infect anybody.  So I felt even more weird and alienated.  I’d seen a bunch of posts on Roffle about people tidying up the armoury so I went there to see if I could find anyone.

I didn’t see anyone I knew but look at all their hard work!  Good work guys.  Am actually glad I was sick and managed to avoid doing this!

The hospital is so quiet at night. It makes me miss the noise of the runners’ quarters. And I never thought I’d say that.

I’ll bring Evan around to yell at me as I bang pots & pans together if you want.

Thanks for making me laugh, Five! I needed that. I have NOT missed Evan and his crazy training schedule. Although by writing that out and publishing it on the Roffle, I’ve probably earned myself a couple of extra laps around Abel.

Hi Jody! How’re you feeling?

block

I was feeling better… and then I pushed myself too much today.  After like three days of begging, the Doc let me out of bed and I walked around the hospital… and now I’m sooo tired.  Will sleep well tonight.  Just don’t tell Evan that a walk around the hospital nearly killed me, ok!!

Zombie Tip #121

No items of clothing with a hood to be worn when outside of Abel.

That’s how we lost the last Runner Fourteen.  She stumbled across a pack of zoms and almost made it home free until one grabbed her by the hood and dragged her backwards.  After having to watch that, Sam put his foot down.

Rule applies to scarves too, decorative or woolen.
